Recommendations for use
It should be handled with care as any surface contamination may affect the print quality.

Storage
Avoid storage in places with high humidity and high temperature.
Keep your labels on the original packaging.
Contact with water and chemical must be avoidable.

How to print

HP

Step 1:
Select an image file. Then from the Picture Tasks menu, click on "print this picture". Photo Printing Wizard will start automatically.
Note: recommend using 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution images for good image quality.

Step 2:
Follow the instruction in the Photo Printing Wizard. Click the "Next" button to go to the next step. ( Note: "Photo Printing Wizard" will adjust the image color and lighting automatically. For manual control of color and lighting, please use other imaging software or adjust printer setting.)

Step 3:
Confirm the image selected, and then click "ext"

Step 4:
Under Printing Options, select the HP printer.Then click "Printing Preferences".

Step 5:
In the Paper/ Quality of Hp printer properties screen, create a new paper size by select "Custom".

Step 6:
In the Custom Paper Size screen, input the new paper size. Example for the 14.1"W notebook:
(1) Choose the unit : mm
(2) Enter Paper Width: 198.0 mm and Paper Height: 315.0 mm
(3) Select the "Name" with pull-down manual.

(4) Click "save" and "Ok".

Step 7:
Choose the following setting:
(1) The custom paper size ¡V Custom 1.
(2) The paper type ¡V Other photo paper.
(3) The paper quality ¡V Best.

Step 8:
After customized page size is set, do the following settings in the "Basics" of Hp printer properties screen: Select "Landscape" in Orientation, then click "OK".

Step 9:
Select "Full page photo print: cropped and rotated to fit". Then click "Next" to print out the image. Note: Printer may start after 2 to 5 minutes or even later depending on image file size and computer processing speed

Step 10:
Your personalized customizable notebook panel is ready to be applied
(1) Peel off 1/5 of the film
(2) Line to the edge and apply the notebook panel
(3) Gently apply the entire label on the notebook panel
(4) Customizable Panel done!

CANON



Step 1:

Step 4:
Under Printing Options, select the Canon printer. Then click "Printing Preferences".

Step 5:
In the Page setup of Canon printer properties screen, create a new paper size by
(1) select the "Orientation - Landscape";
(2) Under "Page size", select "Custom" from the dropdown manual.

Step 6:
In the Custom Paper Size screen, input the new paper size. Example for the 14.1"W notebook:
(1) Choose the unit : mm
(2) Enter Paper Width: 198.0 mm and Paper Height: 315.0 mm (3) Click "Ok".

Step 7:
After customized page size is set, do the following setting:
(1) Printer paper Size: ustom.
(2) Repeat step 6.
(3) Page Layout: Fit to Page Printing

Step 8:
In the "Main" of Canon printer properties screen,
(1) Select the "Matte Photo Paper" from the pull down Manual;
(2) Under "Print Quality", select "High"
(3) Tick the box of "Preview before printing"
(4) Then, click "OK".

Step 9:
Select "Full page photo print" cropped and rotated to fit". Then click "Next". On the next screen, preview and click "Print". Note: Printer may start after 2 to 5 minutes or even later depending on image file size and computer processing speed.

EPSON


Step1:

Follow the instruction in the Photo Printing Wizard. Click the "Next" button to go to the next step. (Note: "Photo Printing Wizard" will adjust the image color and lighting automatically. For manual control of color and lighting, please use other imaging software or adjust printer setting).


Step 3:
Confirm the image selected, and then click "Next".


Step 4:
Under Printing Options, select the Epson printer. Then click "Printing Preferences."


Step 5:
In the EPSON printer properties screen, create a new paper size by
(1) select the "Main tab";
(2) Under Paper Options a Size, select "User Defined" from the dropdown manual.

 

 

 


Step 6:
In the User Defined Paper Size screen, create and name the new paper size.? Example for the 14.1"W notebook:
(1) Enter name in "Paper Size Name": Intel 14" Panel Size
(2) Enter Paper Width: 2020 mm and Paper Height: 3130 mm (3) Select unit used: Unit: 0.01 cm, Click "Save" and then "Ok".
After saving the new paper size, the setting is added to the dropdown manual. For future printing of the same size, simply select the pre-defined size.
Note 1: If the image width to height ratio is out the range of 1:1.5 to 1:1.6, cropping will occur.
Note 2: For optimum result, please adjust either you actual image size or fine tune paper width and height setting.


Step 7:
From the "Paper Options" field, making the following selections:
(1) Type: Photo Paper or Premium Glossy Photo Paper
(2) Size: Intel-14" Panel Size (or other size dending on your need)
(3) Orientation: Landscape


Step 8:
Select "Full page photo print": cropped and rotated to fit.
Then click "Next". On the next screen, preview and click "Print."
Note: Printer may start after 3 to 5 minutes or even later depending on image file size and computer processing speed.

Ordering customizable notebook panels from anadem is simple and fast.

Standard images are available royalty-free from the Customizable Notebook Panel image library.

1. What is a customizable notebook panel?
Typically it is a piece of Polycarbonate or Vinyl material that has been customized for the insertion into the top cover of notebook
barebones1 supporting the Intel® Interchangeability initiative.

Is the customizable notebook panel an Intel product?
No, the customizable notebook panel is not an Intel® product. It is an ingredient of the Intel® Interchangeability Initiative1, enabled by Intel.

Is this customizable notebook panel removable?
yes.

4.
Can I reuse a previously installed customizable notebook panel?
If it is within the curing time of the PSA vendor which in general the first 15 minutes the material is extremely workable, and
continues to be workable up to first 24 hours of adhesion. Twenty four hours after the protective liner is removed, the customizable
notebook panel is not reusable even if it is removed from the notebook and the protective liner. If the customizable notebook panel
has been on the notebook and the adhesive is fully cured, it is not recommended to reuse the customizable notebook panel.

5.What is the curing time for PSA attachments?
PSA material set time varies, but in general the material remains workable for the first 24 hours. Heat can be applied to
the customizable notebook panel after installation to speed curing time.

6. How do I incorporate my logo on the customizable notebook panel?
Incorporating logos into graphic designs varies by vendor; work with your vendor on the process to incorporate your logo. In general
you will need to provide a high resolution image for this process.

7.What are the notebook panel sizes that have been enabled for the customizable notebook panel?

8. Who offers notebooks that fit the customizable notebook panel?
Please refer your to the Intel® Interchangeability Initiative Matrix at http://www.intel.com/go/interchange for notebook
barebone availability.

9. Can I put a customizable notebook panel on any notebook?
We do not recommend the application of customizable notebook panels on other notebooks not supporting the Intel® Interchangeability Initiative. For a complete list of supporting notebooks, please visit http://www.intel.com/go/interchange. The recess built into participating notebook manufacturers' top covers has been specifically designed to support the customizable Notebook panel and ensures a reasonable panel lifetime.

10. What does the customizable notebook panel cost?
Please contact a vendor for exact pricing and availability. Digital printing on vinyl tends to be more economical then
screen printing on Polycarbonate.

11. Is the customizable notebook panel intended for end-user installation?
No, the customizable notebook panel is intended for professional installation and removal only.

12. Can I return a defective notebook with a customizable notebook panel on it?
Yes.

13. What will happen to my customizable notebook panel that is attached to the notebook that I return?
The customizable notebook panel will be lost and not replaced. The barebone notebook product will be repaired and refurbished. Follow the normal RMA procedures even if you have installed a customizable notebook panel. It is suggested that the reseller make their end-customer aware that a customizable notebook panel will not be able to be replaced. Resellers will need to think through how they want to handle this limitation and ensure their customers are fully aware.
